🥛A month of joy with the picture book “Milkshake Shake”
This month, our pre-K class had so much fun with a very special picture book:
“Milkshake Shake”.

It’s a sweet and simple story about a cow parent and child making yummy milkshakes together.
We moved our hands up, down, left, and right—just like in the book!
The rhythm was fun, the words were easy to follow, and the children quickly joined in with happy voices and big smiles.
🎶Shake it up, stir it down!
We read the story again and again throughout the month.
Each time, the children got more excited to shake, stir, and sing along!

They especially loved shouting “Shake it up!” and doing their own little shake dances.
It was a wonderful way to learn English while moving and having fun.
🎨 Colorful Milkshakes We Made!
At the end of the month, we had a special surprise activity!
We used paint to create our very own milkshakes. They weren’t for drinking—but they looked delicious!

We made chocolate milkshakes, wild strawberry, sky blue, and even raspberry milkshakes.
Some were sparkly, some were messy, but each one was full of personality.
The children played shop, practiced the story lines, and brought their milkshakes home with proud smiles.
Learning through play 🌱
Along the way, they picked up lots of new words—like strawberries and chocolate—and practiced saying “up,” “down,” “left,” and “right.”
And of course, we always remembered to say “Thank you!” with a big smile 😊
At our school, we believe children learn best through play.
When English is connected to movement, color, and joy—it truly becomes part of them.

💟Thank You, Little Milkshake Makers!
Even though it got a little messy, I was so happy to see their excitement.
Their laughter, curiosity, and creativity made this month truly special.
This wasn’t about creating something perfect—
just about enjoying English as we use it, and growing through real experiences.
There are so many wonderful classrooms around the world doing inspiring things,
and we’re always learning, too.
We’ll keep trying, failing, laughing, and learning—
not just learning English, but doing things in English.
And we can’t wait to see what we’ll create next. 💫🧃
